• Shoe shopping should always be done during the daytime or evening as feet swell over the course of the day.
  • It is always better to avoid shoes that are fancy because they may be heavy for them to wear for long. And when you buy the fancy shoes, make sure to measure the size of the shoe and buy a size larger than the actual size as they grow at a high speed. Also make sure the fancy pair of shoes doesn't have heels. Stick with the flats of a proper fit so that they don't fall or get any sprain.

  • Shoes for kids should have laces, Velcro or something that can grip the shoe tightly. Also, make sure to avoid any slippery, backless or slip-on shoes for kids.
  • Check for the shoes that are made from the materials that are breathable, for example canvas or leather. Moreover it should be more durable and they should be able to help to keep the kid's foot cooler and dry to prevent any blisters, discomfort and stinky feet and shoes.
  • Check for the soles, as they should be thick and sturdy to protect the feel from any sprain, pain or injury. Sometimes the soles are so hard that they start to poke. So make sure that they are hard but soft enough to not pinch or harm the kid. It should be flexible enough to move around or bend around without any problems.
  • Make sure to keep checking the size of the feet so that when it changes, you can buy a new pair. Kids grow fast and when the shoe doesn't fit well, it may harm the tips of the foot. They are sensitive so you have to be more aware about these things.
